We have been asked to return to Foxmead Court to do our usual clearance of their pond. For those who have not been there before, the Conservation Society was responsible for saving the pond about 30 years ago by lining it with clay. Despite the fact that the site has been developed into retirement apartments, the pond remains. Since the apartments were built, we have been returning to enhance its wildlife value and maintain it as an attractive feature for the residents to continue to enjoy.
Wellies are always helpful here.
There are only 3 visitors parking bays at the car park at the rear of the building via Meadowside. So please try to walk if possible, or if the car park is full, there is usually loads of road space on Meadowside itself.
