Last winter we started to clear invasive scrub from Chantry Hill to encourage butterflies and chalk grassland plants. This afternoon will provide an opportunity to visit the site with experts from within our group to identify the plants and butterflies to be found there. Parking is very limited so please either lift share or park in Church Street and walk up to the Stables. There is a steep climb to get to Chantry Hill and the ground there is uneven. We will follow the walk with refreshments on site.
