A morning's session clearing Himalayan Balsam/Bracken at Hurston Warren.
Hurston Warren, Pulborough West Sussex To help in the removal of the Himalayan Balsam in the Hurston Warren area, we have a morning session at this SSSI site. Previous sessions have proved we are making a big difference with less and less of this invasive species around every time we visit. The area has boggy areas, brambles and nettles, so long trousers and long sleeve shirts, sturdy boots/wellies, are to be recommended. We may even have time for a little bracken bashing as well.Meet passed the far end of West Sussex Golf Club car park, Golf Club Lane, Pulborough. The new parking area is about 100m passed where we used to park. It is further south from the golf club and just passed Kate’s home entrance, through a gate on the right, on some hard standing, next to an old farm building.What3Words(w3w): warriors.dimension.corrects – click (here)Tools and refreshments are provided. |
