SUMMARY:Tractor tour of Knepp Castle Estate
DESCRIPTION:For over 10 years the Estate have been taking a radical new app
 roach landdowner Charlie Burrell is managing his land in a wilder way. Onc
 e a traditional arable and dairy farm\, for the last 11 years the estate h
 as been restoring and regenerating the land to boost biodiversity and allo
 w less intensive meat production. The 1\,400 hectares are grazed by roamin
 g herds of Old English Longhorn cattle\, Exmoor ponies\, pigs and deer as 
 part of the estate's Wildland project. A stretch of the River Adur which f
 lows through the estate is also being changed - having been canalised in t
 he past\, the path of the river is being more naturalised to restore meand
 ers and to incorporate natural floodplains. \n\nWe will be taken on a tou
 r of the site to see the results first hand. Places are limited so please
