SUMMARY:A morning's work at Foxmead Pond
DESCRIPTION:We have been asked to return to Foxmead Court to do our usual c
 learance of their pond. For those who have not been there before\, the Con
 servation Society was responsible for saving the pond about 30 years ago b
 y lining it with clay. Despite the fact that the site has been developed i
 nto retirement apartments\, the pond remains. Since the apartments were bu
 ilt\, we have been returning to enhance its wildlife value and maintain it
  as an attractive feature for the residents to continue to enjoy. \nWellie
 s are always helpful here.\nThere are only 3 visitors parking bays at the 
 car park at the rear of the building via Meadowside. So please try to walk
  if possible\, or if the car park is full\, there is usually loads of road
