SUMMARY:A one-off extra Thursday afternoon
DESCRIPTION:A message direct from Mick Denness as follows:\nDear Members\nR
ecently a local farmer made a mistake and spread a large amount of plastic
along with manure on one of his fields. This has led to an unsightly envi
ronmental pollution problem. The field in question is off Clay Lane\, behi
nd the pond we have just restored in Cootham. The only way to resolve the
problem is to litter pick the field and I have volunteered our services to
do it. We are therefore planning a project to do this on Thursday 10th Se
ptember between 14:00 and 16:00.\nThe field in question is flat and level.
If you can come and help\, please do\, as we need as many people out as p
ossible. The easiest place to park is in the Crown Pub Car Park and they h
ave welcomed us with open arms (ours full of plastic at the end we hope).
From the car park\, turn right towards Parham\, turn left up Chapel Lane a
nd walk to the end of the lane onto the footpath. If you have a litter pic
ker\, please bring it.\nAs usual tea and cake provided.\nMick Denness.\n(P
lease meet us at the Crown Inn car park if you are not sure where the fiel
 d is).
