Storrington Conservation Society was responsible for establishing an Health Walks Programme in Storrington in 2002. This was done to enable local people to gain a better appreciation of the beautiful area we live in and an appreciation of its wildlife.
The walks form part of a larger District wide programme which is organised by Horsham District Council. Over the years we have now organised and led over 1,100 walks.
We organise at least two walks each weekend at 14:00 on Saturday afternoons and 10:00 on Sunday mornings. The walks range from 3 to 7 miles and everybody is welcome.
The walks are led by a dedicated team of volunteer walk leaders.
