HEALTHY WALKS
The programme is run by Storrington Conservation Society supported by Horsham District Council. The District Council also runs walks in many other locations throughout the District.
In addition to providing an opportunity to get to know the local area better walkers meet a friendly group of like minded people.
All walks have a leader and backup leader and therefore can cater for a range of walking paces.
Walks usually last for between 1 & 2 hours depending on your pace. Level 3 walks tend to be longer or have more stiles/gradients than level 2.
The routes have been selected for their scenic beauty, conservation value and historical interest. At the end of the walk we have coffee and biscuits. (£1.00 donation requested)

You will see below that we are planning 2 walks a level 2 and a level 3 both departing at different times. The plan is for walkers to bring some picnic food that they are happy to share with others to the start of the walk and we will transport it for you to the picnic site we have chosen above Amberley Museum. Tea, coffee and cake will be available as usual. Walkers from both walks will join together for the picnic before all returning the 2.5 miles back to the car park. Please note both walks include a steep hill, also note that there are no toilets at the picnic site. | |||||||
